Yo guys, i saw this movie from esuba lucker:

and i just noticed that the graf is really strange but it's good to my eyes. It's very detailed and also the colors are really good. Can i set my cfg like this, or it's just a movie after effect or movie cfg which is not able to play with?

Thanks for your answers.

It's a cfg made by Atheist, a moviemaker. He is making the best configs for movies. He is like an illusionist... he wants keep his tricks for himself.
He is probably using commands that won't allow you to play in a official match.

alright, there are .iwd files that can be put in your main folder(color sky changing), therefore u cannot trigger it when playing online, u have to load devmap, its just for edit, to make it look nicer

I know the 95% of the skybox making proccess, the only thing that I didn't figure out yet (I haven't even tried) is how to import it into cod2 (I'm not sure how it works with that zzz prefixes).
But the whole proccess of creating custom skybox is relatively easy. All you need is terragen and some PS knowledge.
Honestly, if you're a newbie when it comes to editing - don't bother with skyboxes (yet.), you have much more things to learn prior to bothering yourself with skyboxes.

And yes, if you leave the skybox file in your main folder, it may appear on some pub servers (at least this happened to me a few times before)...

I tried contacting Atheist at least three times to ask him about his skyboxes, but did not get any response...

As for the movie cfgs - first of all if you have a shit PC - don't even bother.
Secondly - if you're into quality editing - never use Fraps or other ingame recorders - use avidemo. Why? - Microlags and much more smoother gameplay.
Thirdly - when editing and creating custom movie cfg's, I highly recommend copying cod2 folder onto another drive which will be used only for editing. This includes removing all unnecessary folders from your copied COD2 folder, primarily the PB since some of the commands used for editing are cheats, therefore you could easily get banned. For my own assurance, I use the keygened (that word doe ) key code for the copied COD2 editing folder...

Anyways, once I caught up with all the cmd's and tweaks, I would play the demo, and write the tweaked commands down on a piece of paper (the ones I liked). Afterwards I'd put them in the notepad, saved them, and binded them...

2 frepzZ In addition to my movie.cfg I use my own custom mod based on ENB. You also can try SweetFX for example but you have to remember all of this stuff meant to be used while playing singleplayer game or watching the demos otherwise you'd be banned for sure.
2 Seventy Third never seen you trying to contact me anywhere sorry. If you already know all of the stuff and only need to convert the skies into cod2 you should use asset manager that goes with cod2 mod tools. All stuff you should set is on the screenshot attached.

What about all of that 'zzz prefixes' - go to cfg factory, download any cod2 custom skies and you will see then how you have to rename the files.

Yeah. That's why quality editing takes much more than 2 afternoons, some random frags and unsynced music.

@en00bs_Atheist - yep, I tried your XF while it was still alive, CFG factory and Youtube, but doesn't matter. Thanks for posting this, but still, what do I need to do when I get the .IWI file?
