LPL APEX LEGENDS Season 1 2023

Tournament Information:
We are excited to announce LPL Apex Legends 2023 with a $800 AUD prize pool.

Due to not having a full lobby this tournament will be on hold.

Tournament is open to all platforms to participate.

This tournament is for AU/NZ residents only. If you are from another region and wish to compete, please open a Support Ticket and let us know.

Tournament Format:
This tournament will be operating with similar rules to ALGS.

There will be 4 maps played per night for the first 5 tournament nights & the points will be used to determine team placements for the final.

Tournament night 6 will be the final & will use the "Match Point" mechanic to determine the winner.

How does Match Point work?

Once a Team reaches 40 points (“Match Point Threshold”) in this round, that team is “Match Point Eligible." Once a Team is Match Point Eligible, winning a match (placing first) after the match in which they reach the Match Point Threshold will result in them being declared winners of that tournament. Other Teams will be ranked according to their Round Score from this final round.

All players require a LPL Subscription to participate.

Scoring:
This tournament will use the standard ALGS scoring format:
Kills - 1 point per kill
1st - 12 points
2nd - 9 points
3rd - 7 points
4th - 5 points
5th - 4 points
6th - 7th - 3 points
8th - 10th - 2 points
11th - 15th - 1 point
16th - 20th - 0 points
