LPL Overwatch 2 Season 1 2023

General info

Due to insufficient sign ups, this tournament is on hold.

Season 1 will have both Opens and Amateur tournaments running for 6 weeks! Jump into opens for some low stress tournament experience, or if you think you have the skills, head to the Amateur league and take your shot at winning some of the $600 prize pool!

To participate in the Amateur tournament, you'll need to maintain an LPL Premium Subscription. If you have any questions around this, please submit a support ticket.

Divisions and Format:

Amateur requires minimum 8 teams to run, in the event that the tournament does not have enough sign ups, all sign ups will be moved into the opens league and amateur will be put on hold.

The format for the games is Control - Escort - Push. Map bans & picks will need to be done via match chat. You must use match chat to add/communicate with the opposing team.

Open - No Prize Pool. Free to join. Elo format. Teams update their match times to be assigned up to 3 matches per week. Matches are Best of 5.
Amateur - $600. LPL Premium required. Elo format. Teams update their match times to be assigned up to 3 matches per week. Matches are Best of 5.

Playoffs:
Open and Amateur – Monday 27 March - Sunday 2 April

Grand Finals:
Open and Amateur – Monday 3 April - Sunday 9 April
