VALORANT OVERTIME CUP 2022 - PRESENTED BY LPL

Tournament Information:
The VALORANT Overtime Cup 2022 is an official Oceania tournament in the VALORANT OFF//SEASON, in partnership with Riot Games.

The Overtime Cup will feature a $1,750 AUD prize pool shared across the top 8 teams that qualify. The top 8 teams will be determined by an Open Qualifiers hosted on Thursday 1st December and Friday 2nd December. The top 8 teams will progress to Group Stage on Monday 5 December and Tuesday 6 December, with the top 4 teams playing on broadcast on Monday 12 December and Tuesday 13 December.

As always, we highly encourage all players to read through the ruleset (see right) to check their eligibility and ensure they will be able to commit to the scheduling requirements for the tournament.

Format:
The VALORANT Overtime Cup 2022 will have three phases.

Phase 1 (Non-broadcast) - Open Qualifiers
Open Qualifiers will be a Best of 1, Single Elimination Format (played until completion). Seeding matches to be played for 8-4th place. The top 8 teams will qualify for Phase 2 (Non-broadcast) - Group Stage.

Phase 2 (Non-broadcast) - Group Stage
Group Stage will see the top 8 teams play a seeded swiss round robin with each match being Best of 3. Minimum 2 rounds, maximum 3 rounds. The top 4 teams that achieve 2 total wins first will progress through to Phase 3 (Broadcast) - Playoffs based on seeding. Note that the top 8 teams will be required to submit broadcast-relevant information to LPL Staff in the event they qualify to Phase 3 (Broadcast) - Playoffs.

Phase 3 (Broadcast) - Playoffs
Playoffs will see all top 4 teams seeded into a Best of 3, Single Elimination Bracket, with a Best of 5 Grand Finals. All Phase 3 (Broadcast) - Playoffs matches will be broadcast (see right). Note these matches will be played on the Tournament Realm, provided by LPL & Riot Games.
