LPL DOTA 2 SEASON 2 2022

General info

Dota 2 is back with Open and Amateur tournaments running for 9 weeks. Jump into opens for some low stress tournament experience, or if you think you have the skills, head to the Amateur league and take your shot at winning some of the $900 prize pool!

There have been a few changes to Dota 2:

• Pro and Challenger Divisions have been removed
• There is no longer rank restrictions on the leagues.

Tournament Information:
In Season 2, LPL Dota 2 will have a $900AUD prize pool across all divisions!
The following changes have been made:

• The rank requirement has been removed from all leagues.
• The Pro and Challenger divisions have been removed.

Note that LPL Dota 2 includes both SEA and ANZ players.
Players will be required to link their STEAM ID's to their LPL accounts before their first playdate.

Season 2 Divisions and Format:
All Divisions will require at least 8 teams to commence.

Open
No prize pool. Free to join, Best of 1 Elo Format. Teams update their own match times & dates they can play (it is recommended to play at least 1 game a week to ensure you have enough time to finish out the season)
Amateur
$900 AUD prize pool. LPL Subscription required. Elo format. Teams update their match times to be assigned up to 3 matches per 13 days. Matches are Best of 1.

Week 5:
Open and Amateur – Monday 26 September - Sunday 2 October

Week 6:
Open and Amateur – Monday 3 October - Sunday 9 October

Week 7:
Open and Amateur – Monday 10 October - Sunday 16 October

Playoffs:
Open and Amateur – Monday 17 October - Sunday 23 October

Grand Finals:
Open and Amateur – Monday 24 October - Sunday 30 October
