2022 VALORANT Oceania Tour - Stage 2

General info

Tournament Information:
2022 VALORANT Oceania Tour - Stage 2 will feature a $25,000 AUD prize pool for the top 8 teams, with the winning team scoring a spot in the APAC Playoffs in June 2022. Teams get there by beginning their journey in the Open Qualifiers and fighting their way to the Regional Playoffs where the top 8 teams will earn points based on their placements which accumulate across Stage 1 and Stage 2. Top scoring teams then battle it out in the 2022 VALORANT Oceania Tour Championship held later this year where the winner will represent OCE in the APAC LCQ heading into the 2022 VALORANT Champions.

2022 VALORANT Oceania Tour - Stage 2 will also directly invite the top placing teams from Stage 1, Bonkers and Order, to participate in the Group Stage as Seed 1 and Seed 2 respectively.

As always, we highly encourage all players to read through the ruleset (see below) to check their eligibility and ensure they will be able to commit to the scheduling requirements for the tournament.

Eligible countries in Oceania includes: Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia (France), Samoa, Kiribati, the Federated States of Micronesia, Tonga, the Marshall Islands, Cook Islands (NZ), Wallis and Futuna (France), Tuvalu, Nauru, Niue (NZ), Tokelau (NZ), the Pitcairn Islands (UK), Heard Island, and the McDonald Islands.

Qualified Teams:
With the top team of 2022 VOT Stage 2 qualifying to partake in the APAC Playoffs overseas, all individuals (intending to travel should they qualify) in the top 8 teams will be required to send LPL & Riot Games valid passports, or proof that a fast-tracking passport has been purchased, by Thursday 21 April 12PM NZT. Those that do not meet this requirement after qualifying will not be eligible to participate in Group Stage.

All players must complete the 2022 Player Release Form 24 hours before the first Group Stage play day - this is a requirement to play and if you have not filled it in you will not be able to compete.

Open Qualifiers & Registration:
-All players must be 16 years of age from their first playdate.
-128 teams maximum.

Registration for Open Qualifiers is now open! Registration closes on Sunday 10th April 2022 11:59PM NZT. Seeding & bracket to be released on Tuesday 12 April 2022.

Format:
2022 VALORANT Oceania Tour - Stage 2 will have three phases.

Phase 1 - Open Qualifiers
Open Qualifiers will be a Best of 3, Single Elimination Format (played until completion). Seeding matches to be played for 8-4th place. Only the top 6 teams will qualify for Phase 2 in Stage 2.

Phase 2 - Group Stage
Group Stage will see the top 8 teams seeded into two groups.

-Group A - Seed 1 (Bonkers), 8, 3, and 6 (from Open Qualifiers).
-Group B - Seed 2 (Order), 7, 4, and 5 (from Open Qualifiers).

Each group will be a Best of 3, Single Round Robin (each team playing each other once within the group). All 8 teams will be seeded into the Regional Playoffs pending on their placements within their group.

Phase 3 - Regional Playoff
Regional Playoffs will see all top 8 teams seeded into a Best of 3, Double Elimination Bracket, with a Best of 5 Grand Finals.
