Tournament Information:
LPL has partnered with Samsung to bring New Zealand Clash Royale mobile players, the Samsung Summer Clash Cup 2v2!

Clash Royale players in New Zealand have the opportunity to pair up with their buddy and bring their favorite decks to compete in the SAMSUNG Summer Clash Cup 2v2 for a $5,800NZD prize pool, be featured in LPL broadcasts and win Samsung phones. The Samsung Summer Clash Cup 2v2 event will take place over four weeks - starting Friday 21 January to Friday 11 February 2022 - where the top eight 2v2 teams in New Zealand will battle it out to find New Zealand's best 2v2 Clash Royale team!

The event will be broadcast on the LPL Twitch channel!

To enter the tournament, LPL will host an online Open Qualifiers on Saturday 15 January & Sunday 16 January @ 1PM NZDT to qualify the best eight 2v2 teams in the region.

Samsung Summer Clash Cup 2v2 Format:
Open Qualifiers - Best of 3, Double Elimination Bracket. Top 8 qualifies for Top 8 Group Stage.
Top 8 Group Stage - Best of 1, Single Round Robin. Top 4 teams qualify to Playoffs.
Top 4 Playoffs - Best of 5, Semi Finals 1 (Seed 1 vs Seed 4), Semi Finals #2 (Seed 2 vs Seed 3) and Grand Finals (Winner of Semi Finals 1 and Semi Finals 2)..

Open Qualifier Registration:
-Players entering the Samsung Summer Clash Cup 2v2 must be a New Zealand citizen and/or resident.

Open Qualifiers will be held on Saturday 15 January and Sunday 16 January 2022. The bracket will start at 1PM NZDT on each day. Registrations close Friday 14 January 2022 12PM NZDT.
