Announced in our roadmap at the start of the year we were thrilled to bring a whole new dimension to CyberGamer with the support for the exciting world that is the Fighting Game Community (FGC).
With WD CGPL Autumn underway its time to reveal our plans for Street Fighter V which will consist of our first event of its kind.
On April the 15th and 15th we will be holding a ticketed event for fans of Street Fighter Five open to the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Dates
Last day to purchase Entry ticket: April 7th 10pm AEDT
Event Dates: April 14th and 15th 2018
Location: 10 Lagunta Avenue, Edwardstown SA , 5039

Entry Fees
Competitor Entry : $30 per person (Max 100 players for SFV, includes provided water and community BBQ day 2)
Spectator Entry: $15 per person (Spectators can purchase soft drink and water at the venue)
Purchase Tickets: Tickets are available now for both competitors and spectators HERE

Format
All matches will be played on Street Fighter Five Arcade Edition
All matches will be Best of Three, double elimination.
Top 8 will be Best of Five

CyberGamer will provide consoles, and the game to play on, players are welcome to bring their own controllers if they wish.

Prize Distribution
1st place - $5,000 AUD
2nd place - $3,000 AUD
3rd place - $2,000 AUD

1st - 8th also receive a CGPL SFV Medal


Whats Else
In the interest of providing the best community event, we would like to also provide a Tier 2 Tournament at the event where the prize pool will be funded by an additional entry fee of $10. However, to do so we will require significant community interest to be shown via ticket purchases - the more people at the event, the more we can do with the event!
