Welcome to all Rocket League fans!

Tournament Information:
Welcome to a brand new year with LPL and Psyonix! We hope all users had a fantastic break over Christmas and we are excited to once again deliver the LPL Pro Rocket League Oceanic Championship to all Rocket League fans in the Oceanic region!

Open Qualifiers will be held over two days on the 8th and 9th February 2020 to determine the top six teams in the region. These six teams will join the remaining two auto-qualified Oceanic teams from Rocket League’s previous Season 8 World Championship in seven weeks of round-robin league play, which will result in a Regional Playoff at LPL Studios in Auckland on April 11th and April 12th to determine our Season 9 Oceanic Champion!

Oceanic players currently residing in the Oceanic region (including New Zealand, Australia, South-East Asia and the Pacific Islands, full list available below) who are over 15 years of age are eligible to form a team and enter the Open Qualifiers.

Registration for the Open Qualifiers will open on Wednesday 22nd January and close Thursday 6th February 11:59PM NZT.

Thanks to Psyonix, a prize pool of $75,000 USD is up for grabs with an additional $5,500 USD for player accolades!

Rules
The LPL Pro Rocket League Oceanic Championship Qualifiers and The LPL Pro Rocket League Oceanic Championship will be subject to the Rocket League Championship Series Official Ruleset.

Roster Lock:
RLCS rosters are locked and no trades are possible after the “RLCS Roster Lock Deadline,” which is February 8th, 2020 at 1:00PM NZT.

Oceanic Countries:
Oceania is inclusive of: Australia, Fiji, Indonesia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu.

Open Qualifiers
Registration for the Open Qualifiers will open on Wednesday 22nd January and close Thursday 6th February 11:59PM NZT.

Open Qualifiers will take place on Saturday 8th February and Sunday 9th February 2020 from 1:00PM NZT / 11:00AM AEDT. Open Qualifiers are Double Elimination Bo3, Quarter Finals onwards will be a Bo5. The Top 3 from both Saturday and Sunday will make the league line up!

Registrations
Registrations are open now! By registering, you agree to abide by the rule-set found here. If you are a minor, then your parent/guardian agrees on your behalf.

If you play on Saturday but do not qualify, you are free to play on Sunday. If you're unsure, feel free to sign up to both!

League Play
Once the Open Qualifiers have concluded and the top 8 teams (top 6 teams from Open Qualifiers and two auto-qualified Oceanic teams from Rocket League’s previous Season 8 World Championship) have been confirmed, LPL Admins will contact all Qualified teams to join a separate LPL Pro Rocket League Discord for further communication regarding the League Play schedule.

League Play will be every Sunday from 23rd February until 5th April (7 weeks) at 12:00PM NZT/10:00AM AEDT @ twitch.tv/lpl_play. All games will be broadcast.

Regional Playoff
The top 4 teams from League Play will fly to Auckland, New Zealand for the LAN Regional Playoffs to determine the Oceanic Champion, held on Saturday 11th April and Sunday 12th April 2020.

The Oceanic Champion and Runner-up team will then proceed to the Season 9 Rocket League World Championship.

Accommodation and Return Flights to Auckland, New Zealand for LAN Regional Playoff will be provided by LPL (T&C’s apply).
